I know what it's like to be in pain.
As a committed athlete throughout my entire childhood and a lover of the outdoors and adventure, I've had my fair share of injuries. I have broken both of my wrists, suffered severe back and neck pain from a car accident, and dealt with the delayed onset muscle soreness that comes with being an athlete that likes to push themselves, which is exactly why I designed my massage therapy practice to be more in-depth, holistic, and lifestyle focused than anything you will find at a spa. I designed my practice this way because I know that sometimes getting out of pain requires not only someone who is smart about anatomy and understands the intricacies of the human body and how multiple systems work together, but that it also requires the dedication of the individual in pain to changing their lifestyle, integrating rehabilitation practices, and relearning movements to put a stop to pain.
If you are looking for a relaxation massage, go to a spa. If you are looking for a skilled medical and sports massage therapist to work within your health care team, schedule a consultation with me.
When I enrolled in massage therapy school, I had no idea that professional sports teams employ massage therapists to travel with them and work on their players along with a team of chiropractors, physical therapists, and acupuncturists. I had no idea that massage therapy could exist outside of a spa and offer alternative, non-surgical approach to so many causes of chronic pain.
Fast forward through years of schooling and strategic professional growth through CEU's, my massage therapy practice combines techniques from Oleg Boumier, Ross Turchinov, and the Scientific Massage Therapy Institude to address sports medicine and chronic pain with medical massage strategy. My practice includes cupping, gua sha, kenisio tape, hands on bodywork, and assisted stretching and strengthening techniques.
How do I book an appointment?
Since the Coronavirus Pandemic, I have been treating clients in White Salmon, WA that book with me either over the phone or via email. I have temporarily suspended my online booking system so that I can screen my clients safely and so that my practice can continue to adapt safely as the situation changes.
This pandemic has effected who I will work with and how people book so that I can ensure the safety of my clients. With that said, if you have been exposed to someone who has been sick or have not been participating safely in social distancing, I ask that you postpone booking an appointment. Risk cannot be completely mitigated even with proper PPE so I am also encouraging the community of people whom I work with to take matters into their own hands and slow the spread of Covid-19 by being responsible with the risk associated with massage therapy.
In short - if you are not taking this pandemic seriously, please do not book.

"Thanks to Ash, I'm back on my bike again. Two years of seeing specialists, physical therapists, and taking time off fromthe sport that I lvoe left me with the mindset of going under the knife or continueing to avoid the things that bring me joy to keep the pain from getting too bad. 3 session with her and not only do I have my rehab structure sound and know the routines I need to implement before and after my bike rides, but I also know that the pain was coming from my hip, not my knee. I understand my body better, thanks to ash. She worked with my chiropractor and physical therapist to discover what was working for me already and to get a 360 view of my injury and attempts at healing it so far."
